Communist ideals have failed in India. And the their remains in Bengal and Kerala are also weakened. The reasons are that majority of people voted Indian National Congress, what is regarded as the forerunner in the freedom struggle of this country. The Communist ideals were shattered with the death ? of Subhas Chandra Bose . Also Gandhiji didn't support Subhas at that time but, later on, came to regret it..

Not only the communist party but all the parties, not only in kerala but also in all over india are surviving only due to the Hunger of 40 crore people in India. They have no time to wind off these idea tic political parties. All of their time is been spent only for hunting their bread.

Because the people of Kerela , West bengal and Tripura are not very dead fooooools as ours .... they are very intelligent... so only they are selecting a right choice of government which is concerning for the poors.... Do you want them also to be as foolish as ours...first five periods - a party and next five periods- another opposition party ? Please answer me one thing .... How many goverments you had seen in your state ? Did you satisfied with any of the goverments you selected ? You are in a non-permanent state , seeking a change in all every time....But they are not as you...They are so-much educated and they 'll know what they need and which goverment'll be satisfied for them !!
Well...very well...you some people here are trying to focus communists as selfish poors... However you try...It 'll be never...What ? Mamata only will threaten them ? First see the conditions of mamata !! she was very frustrated about her 35 years continous defeats ... for that only...she is now doing hunger-strike but a joke is... For whom she is doing hunger strike...that agri., people themselves are in the side of communists only because they know the truth and they were satisfied with their government...

In Kerala left continuing at the helm of affairs by joining hands with communal and castist forces, where as in West Bengal it has consolidated its base by establishing a `mafia' like kingdom at village level and also taking advantage from the national political parties compulsions to please them in one or other sense. Only Mamata able to give them real threat, but she was weakened by both Congress and BJP.

The full form of CPI[M] is COMMUNAL PARTY OF INDIA[MUSLIM].
There are more than 25% of muslim population in these state.It is very easy to befool them by cunning communists.Moreover in West Bengal the main opposition congress became a eunuch party.

socio economic and educational realities in a given territory/ state indicate the level of popular support base, each of the pol.groups enjoy, in given period of time.in these two states nature &scope of political activities suit the commies better.they have stronger organisational advantages due to past perfirmances and records of proven leadership.
