The fuel pump is in the tank on that van, so you will have to drop the tank to replace it.

Replace the pump with a factory part. I have had such bad luck with aftermarket fuel pumps for Daimler Chrysler vehicles that my shop will not guarantee the labor if the customer insists on the cheaper aftermarket pump.

Very easy on a Ram 1500...takes about an hour if you have a lift and if you dont you're looking at a couple hours
