What do you mean by banned? No game from the 1974 Lions tour in South Africa was banned. The Lions became (in)famous for the "99" call which meant a free for all when a team member was involved in a brawl. On YouTube there is a scene from a test match - type 99 call.

I've been checking this one since you asked the question - I too would like to get hold of it. I had it when I was a kid as part of a Lions series video set but I lost that along with my 101 best tries collection when I moved house a long time ago.
In the meantime you can get the whole of the Barbarians v NZ - 1973 - Cardiff Arms Park match at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3006034587463880114&q=barbarians+v+all+blacks
This is an amazing game, one of the best ever. I was 5 years away from being born at the time but I've been following rugby all my life and I've never seen a try even remotely resembling "that try", the opening move of which begins around the 4 minute 15 mark of this google video. Every time I watch Edwards come screaming onto that pass hairs stand up on the back of my neck and I don't think Carter or McCaw have done enough yet to take this guys's crown as the best player of all time.
