Why are former customers of Ford Motor Company calling it a "Murderer For Hire" when FMC hires engineers who intentionally makes defective vehicles, so they can increase profits from part sales? Doesn't that sound like valueing money more than life?

having given up all their enterprises in the western community - one can only assume that quality control has become a bit of a misnomer. these days they can get away with anything because they do everything in third world countries where quality control means "oh, it works" or "unluck"

Every cam manufacturer in the does this. If the cost of repairing a part, exceeds the cost of any potential lawsuits, that defect will probably not be fixed. There are always exceptions. But this is a general rule.
Also, every car I've ever owned has been a Ford and I'd never had any problems. I've owned two ford Trucks, an 04 F-150 Lariat that was outstanding in every way. I traded it for an 03 F-350 to do more hauling and have had minor problems, but they were related to fuel economy.

They actually factor that in-- do a cost benefit analysis of what it would cost to recall a series of cars, versus paying off claims for probable wrongful death lawsuits. If they figure the casualty rate is "acceptable", they will not recall the cars and will figure the wrongful death lawsuits are the cost of doing business. It's cheaper for them to pay the lawsuits than recall the car and fix the problem. It's a business decision based on money and profits.

car companies make money by selling cars and by selling replacement parts and services. the more they sell of any the the 3 categories the more they make. FORD has tried to save money buy cutting costs, such as quality control. By reducing the quality of the parts they can save money in manufacturing and sell more replacement parts. Thats why FORD used to say Quality is Job 1. In addition do not forget what FORD really means...Found On Road Dead....
