I did not know that,
Chestnuts, Leeks, Radishes, Rutabaga, Turnips, Gourds, Pumpkins are fruit.
I'm glad to see that people know the difference between fruits and vegetables.
As for your question, today with the importation of fruit from all over the world, what was once considered as winter fruits , or summer fruits, can now be found all year round.

I know the pomegranite is a winter friut...its a little tart but my girls love eating the seeds....kids do need help getting the fruit out....and the red fruit does stain....so keep the kids in an area where you can easily clean up after them
