I would not even if it were a family member. The washcloth is used to wash away germs and dirt. This is left on the washcloth after the shower. Imagine what type of germs may be left if they were a thorough washer and cleaned intimate parts of their body!

Your host or hostess are supposed to lay out your towls and personal care items for you. If its not that formal, just ask for a clean towel and wash cloth. The final answer is how daring are you and do you want to use someone elses washclothe? Scrubba dub dub

Heh heh, I don't even use my wife's wash cloth and I sleep with her. I think it's just etiquette that your host would give you a clean towel and washcloth for your use. Now, let's hope the shower itself is reasonably clean...
