That is life on lifes terms
Heres something you might enjoy.....
Everything happens for a reason, nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Injury, Illness, love lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be a smoothly paved path to nowhere.
If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, foregive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.
If someone loves you, love them back uncondittionally, not only because they love you but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you never would have seen or felt without them.
Make everyday count. Apprichiate every moment and take from it everything you can, for you may never be able to expierience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up high because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you dont believe in yourself no one else will believe you either.
You can make your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

It depends on your personality. If you're the type that will sit there morosely in a wheelchair moping about how you missed your opportunity to be happy, getting on the nerves of everyone else at the nursing home, then by all means get out and do something different today! Seize whatever you can seize! Take up a new hobby! Make a new friend! Try a new route! Learn a new language.

If, on the other hand, you are delaying for a good reason (e.g. health issues) then don't be hard on yourself. We can't all be seizing with both hands each and every day of our lives! It's like a tide, sometimes we're working with the tide and sometimes we're furiously paddling against the tide, but we all do what we can.

And don't forget to pat yourself on the back for what you have already accomplished. Too many of us forget to do that, we're so busy obsessing over what we didn't get to do or what we haven't acquired that we don't count our blessings over the things we have accomplished and what we already have... especially WHO we already have in our lives. Don't get so busy seizing the day that you forget to hug or smile at the people who are making your days special.

Don't think that and seize the day anyway you can, there is always a way to do it.

Seize the night. It's much more fun.
