Is it sufficient? The entire money could be made as statues. Who is bothered. Large scale installation of statues is very good for the nation. Otherwise, the money will be wasted in some other way. Atleast here people garland. Somehow, money has to be diluted in one form or other. And meetings are held in appreciation of statues and the leader. And when they make it near the temples the people statues get more attention than the temples. Statues have market in India and will stay with more power. The Late Dr. Ambethkar statue was damaged/removed, nearly 50 buses were stoned/ burnt and one Deccan Queen Train was burnt. So much of respect they give for statues. Poor policemen have to guard the statues. The courts in India have to create lots of time for these statues and provide solutions. Indians are kept busy with statues. All the Governments all over India have the most important jobs are to create statues, maintain them provide security and give law & order solutions.

Before you and me give any opinion, we should note that the Dravida Kalagam (not kazhagam) is wanting to install more and more EVR's statue. In the interview given to Kumudam weekly magazine this week the General Secretary of Diravida kalagam (not Kazhagam) has stated that they have been installing only statues at the site mostly in front of temples owned or purchased by them for the purpose. So the DK is interested in installing more statues of EVR.

Let them do it.
