If I had unprotected sex the day after my period, and then had my next period right on schedule, but is a little shorter than usual... Then I'm for late (missed) my next period, what are the chances of being pregnant? I'm 11 days late now. What other reason would it not have come yet? I'm not stressed, and I haven't had a change of diet lately... I'll be going to my doctor to see what it is later this week, but I want some ideas now. Thank you~ Renee

i think you will be fine and are unlikely to be pregnant. Make having unprotected sex be a lesson to you not to repeat. There are worse things than a baby to caome out of such flippant acts.
Stress can play havoc with your periods also so that is probably the reason for its change in pattern.

hi renee, i think you are not pregnant because the day after period is safe you should be worried if it was the 8th day.. if it is short its normal because every month one of your Ovarian give an egg, one ovarian is usually stronger than the other that's why sometime the period is long and painful and some other times short and no pain

If you had your previous period it is unlike (though not impossible) that you are pregnant. Do a test. It's late enough not to give a false negative and it can't give a false positive so do a test then you will know for sure.

Sometimes its possible to still get your period during your pregnancy, especially early on. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Maybe if you stopped your birth control, that can make your period late.
