it doesn't matter where you will connect the cable, the only thing is needed is to adjust jumpers in right way.

configure the drive as a slave and connect it to the secondary ATA controller

check the BIOS settings and verify it is set to Auto Detect. Reboot

not need .you only need let it jump to the slave .but the drive you now used is need to jump to the master.or you can change something in the bios. but you drive can't jump the same.
