I need to sleep every day for at least two hours (noon-2pm) or otherwise I am a complete zombie for the rest of the day. It's debilitating. I am on 40mg of Prozac that is controlling my depression, but this started 5 years ago...right after I had my daughter.

I am not depressed anymore...but I can't function without sleeping during the day. I always get my full 8 hours of sleep at night.

Please Help. Thanks.

Thanks for your answers so far.

I have been tested for HIV, Mono, Anemia...all with negative results. Is there a test for E-B?

your doctor can do blood work to determine if you indeed have e/b.
it is a debilitating illness.

I suffer from Vertigo, and people seem to think it is just to do with being afraid of heights, but it is not. When I am out, people quite often think I am drunk because I cannot walk in a straight line, I get a dizzy feeling when i go down escalators and I have to really grip tight on the handrails. Some things don;t bother me, I fly quite often, and I am a big kid when it comes to all the big upside down rides at fairs etc. Vertigo can affect different people different ways. As for the HIV I can't help you on that part, but I am sorry for the pain and suffering it has caused you.

Do you get really sleepy after lunch? If that is the problem, try cutting carbs at lunch. Leave out the bread or potatoes. It works for me!
