Yes, of course. Even though we currently disagree on how to handle the issues in the Middle East. We currently have a few men and women floating above us together right now. That in itself would have been unfathomable just 20 years ago.

One year after the collapse of the former Soviet Union I found myself patrolling the Serbian border as part of the U.N.
We had an International Military Observer attached to us named 'Igor' who was from the Ukraine.
One day he gave me a Russian cigarette and I traded him an American cigarette back. We sat on the top pf Mount Tito and quietly smoked our cigarettes watching the hovering birds nearby.
Igor looked at me and said that if he thought it was funny that we had both been soldiers that had been prepared to try to kill the other less than five years before. I laughed and said "Yes Igor, you would have tried... but I would have succeeded".
We laughed and laughed and laughed and became best friends that day, even though we had been sworn enemies only a few years before....

When everyone find out about the loss of their original identity and recover it in planet of apes..
Everyone can live just like next door neighbours.
For the time being we have to live with the blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past as people of different races of racism in planet of apes.

What makes you think other wise, its just two countries that are currently having different opinions on handling terrorism, and countries that are building any nuclear arsenal that could possibly unstabalize the world.
