I believe that anyone can live and peace and be friends as we all are human. As far as countries are concerned, the point is very often mostly about their presindents' personalities and attitude towards eachother. If both Russia and the USA will be headed by 2 people who would be ready to forget all the bast abuses and act for their people's sake, then these country will live in pease, i believe.

Actually the country that you are referring to is the USSR. We have been quite "friendly" over the last years. There is still a barrier between us but it seems to have narrowed quite a bit. There are a number of Soviet Americans that work and thrive in America. I do not believe that we will ever be as close as the Americans are with the British or Canadians but that is yet to be seen. Russia is no threat. I have been there and the people are poor. Things are getting better though. I think all liberals should go there to see just how good capitalism works and how bad socialism works
