I know what I'm getting other people for Christmas. I have a pretty good idea what presents I'm getting as my sister always asks me for a list of what I want, so no surprises there again.

I am getting a nice quiet dinner with my lover. We are joining a new effort to stop the feeding frenzy of gifts at this time of year. Given how many people in the world are suffering, it seems awful that in the US we have two major holidays, back-to-back (Thanksgiving and Christmas) where we see how much we can consume. It is time to stand up and say enough of that is enough. We should be ashamed.

The only thing I want is to have my family around me. For me it's not about the presents it's about the love and family being together. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Be happy and safe.

Yes, I'm really lucky this year, I've got an airline ticket to Australia off my hubby, going at Easter next year to see my auntie and cousins that I haven't seen for 25 years, so excited and can't wait.

My wife said it would be the same as last year, just she would add a ribbon this year. I assume it will be an empty box with a ribbon?

Just kidding.....probably more woodworking tools for my shop?

I don't get anything nowadays. My mum used to buy me presents but she died 5 years ago now. When my kids are older, they will buy me some I'm sure.
