To what end?

Assume for a moment that terror wins and now reigns supreme. Would the members of any surviving civilization say "living in a culture that uses terror as a means to an end is a much better way to live"?

Of course not.

Will terrorism magically end when the "great Satan(s)" are defeated? Are we to believe that terrorists are unified and singular in their chosen enemies, and that they can ever know when the infidels are "defeated"?

Again, of course not.

Terrorism will never "win" because the terrorists have never been willing to lay down their swords (or bombs) and live peacefully in a peaceful society that tolerates competing ideologies.

A society that thrives on hatred and uses terror to maintain its dominance can never be a goal. People want to be free to live their lives in a civilized and safe world.

Terrorism is not a means to an end. It's a means to create fear and to foment hatred and loathing while destroying and devaluing life. No one would want to live that way.

Would you?

God is not on the side of any nation, yet we know He is on the side of justice. Our finest moments [as a nation] have come when we faithfully served the cause of justice for our own citizens, and for the people of other lands.

No. Democracy will defeat democracy. Free countries are also greedy countries. That is the fatal flaw because as long as they suck up all of the world's resources to feed their own greed, they will breed the hate of countless others.

Yes, if the Democrats in America have their way! ...we can just hide under a rock and hope for the best like the governments of Spain, France & Germany rather than stand up and fight against terrorism.

God bless American and our allies against terrorism!

If the American public vote in a Democratic president in 2008; be prepared for more and more terrorist attacks. And they wont be able to blame the Republicans anymore.
