Because regardless of talent and celebrity status, a whore is a whore regardless. Unfortunately today being a tramp is acceptable but not long ago it was taboo. Progress? I wonder.

Alot of celebrities base their marriges on money and what each other can get out of it. In The case of Brittany Spears she thought that she could get her career back. But things just didnt work and her marrige ended.
for most celebrity marriges not all it is based on that.

Because unlike the rest of us, they can have their choice of whom they want to be with on a "moment to moment" basis. "Oh, he's hot today...lets date him"..."Man, she's looking great right now, she's really popular..it'd be nice to be seen with her". It's all about image and popularity...and very seldom about true feelings for each other that go anything further than physical attraction.
Being well off and popular does have it's advantages. But for most, being lucky in love isn't one of them.

i think this is a bit stereotypical. i am not on the side of celebs, i think most of them are stuck up b*tches. but i think lots of day to day people are in and out of relationships often, but no one hears about it, because they are not in the media or press.
i think its just a matter of people wanting to find their perfect partner. good question. x

if your life was under a microscope you would have trouble living a normal life too.as well its for publicity to keep there names in the news as soon as they lose the media there chance of succeding is very slim.
