do you think i you should still be friends with a person after they have hurt you? my so called friend has just rang me wanting to give a present to my younger brother who lives with me but we havent spoken in some time as she did some bad stuff to me and i cant seem to forgive her and i think it would be wrong to except gifts of her because she might get the wrong idea and think im ok about the situation.

bad stuff, was she tried to have my brother put into care after she made a false statement to the courts, the storys to long to go into detail but he ended up living with me,its not just a petty argument between friends though i can say that.

I think you would be better off to stay as far away from her as possible. You can never trust her, so don't accept the gift.

Hi - maybe her call is an attempt to talk to you. The gift for your brother is an excuse to try and communicate with you. Can you tell her how you feel? Maybe if you can't tell her face to face - can you send her a letter or an e-mail to 'clear the air'?
Communicating your feelings is really important. Think about this - how would you feel if something happened to this friend and you never saw her again? Would you care? Would you regret not clearing the air?

You are such an idiot. Just forgive and forget and also glady accept the gift. For every relaionship there has to be at least one fight in it. You can't expect everything to go alright and you seem to be a dumb fool because don't you realise that your friend is actually trying to become friendly again by giving your brother a present. I consider myself a forgive and forget person but when it comes to my friends it is a toattaly difrent world i say from my experiences to try to work it out one of my friends hurt me and some of my other friends really badly by calling us b****** the fight got so big we had to envolve some adults i don't want that to happen to you now we are friends again and everything is running smothly now so you should try it and sees what happens and if it doesn't work out still exept the gift at least she will know that you were hurt by what she did

It is a decision you have to make. Why don't you tell her you want to discuss what happened so you can understand why it happened. Maybe in the end you can work it out, maybe not. At least you will know you gave it a fair shot.

it depends on how serious the stuff was tht she did to you.
can you not find it in yourself to forgive her?? it is christmas afterall...
if you cant however i would not accept presents off her.. this would give the wrong impression.
