First of all you must bear in mind that an interview is part of an elaborate process, it is never a single act. What does an interview mean to you? And what does it mean to the one who is interviewing? You need to consider both. For you, an interview obviously means an opportunity to further your purpose in life, yet another step towards achieving your goals, you know that much well enough. But the question can still be asked - hat an interviewer wants from an interview, not only from you during the interview? This is obviously the most common question to come to mind, but do you really know the answer? You can follow up the proceedings even after the interview is over. If for example and unfortunately you are not selected, you phone up and ask for the reasons.
I have been in such situations a number of times myself. We all at times can get into a subjective mood every now and then. When there are certain processes working against our desires, we are like to think outside our head, to assure ourselves that this is not a good time. All things and happenings have their purpose, their momentum, or inertia, it takes time for things to slow down once started and then start flowing in our favour, if we make efforts that is. Things can happen at random, they may boost our efforts or cause us to fail. It is in your hands to have things working for you. All times can be good times, for when they are not we can.

Don't worry this ain't the last of your interviews in life, more will come your way, so just forget this one and begin to focus on your next by analysing what your failures might have been. We all do it thinking this time we have managed to answer every question to the panel's satisfaction, only to find we bungled it.
Inerviews sometimes are awkward in that those interviewing you expect a type of answer to a particular question whilst at the same time they may not even bother about your correct answer as they will be focusing on how confident you might be for the job. So in a way you may have done well, but they have their reasons for not shortlisting you. Cheer up though, one day you will make it.

There isn't such thing as bad time, it is what you make of life. Everything you do have consequences and these can make "a bad time" or a good time. If we were to based our lives in what astrology says, then we would be very similar to one another, we wouldn't have the uniqueness we all have. Just think of how many people with the same birth sign as you went for the interview, did all of them fail? Of course no! Interviews nowadays are based on your aptitude and confidence that you present on that day. Good luck.
P.s. Once I was in a similar situation, a professor who was passing by, saw me how nervous I was, he sat next to me and said, it wouldn't be you who'd be losing out if they don't accept you, it would be them, because you have made every effort to make them like you and take you in, what effort have they made for you to like them? They get paid, you haven't, go in there and be yourself. I graduated in that university.

i'm Buddhist so i believe in karma so in that effect yes bad karma can ripen at any time in our lives creating bad times. Also with the interviews being over confident can be as off putting to some employers as being under-confident. Plus there are so many people going for the interviews, its hard. and maybe you just didn't connect with these people, your time will come and when it does you'll be so glad you didn't get put into the selected list of the others - good luck!!!

bad days, bad hair days, or a general malaise in your life?
Yes I do think we have runs of good and bad luck but we can effect them on a day to day basis. What was said about Karma I think rings true. Also if your belief is in some god or other it also works. Do good, get good. It doesn't matter if it is Karma or living a godly life. Another way of looking at things is everything you do gets returned threefold.
Anything anybody tells you affects your attitude, whether it is that you rebel against it, go with it, or you conciously decide to ignore it, the fact is that it is in your subconcious. This is often how astrology works (doesn't) for me.
As far as interviews go I've taught interview techniques to many.
One of the most valuable tools is practice as has been said before. School career advisers, careers advice services, friends with a bit of acting experience can all help.
My favorite tool is one that has stood me in good stead many times. GET A THEME TUNE.
When you are sitting waiting to go in have something calming going round in your head then, just when your name is called, burst into some James Brown (IN YOUR HEAD!!!!) and stride on in. You don't slouch, you don't strut, you just walk on in there like you deserve to be there and introduce yourself with a good handshake and meet their eyes, Garth W. Thank you for seeing me/ thank you for your time/ nice to meet you. The only thing you have to remember after that is avoid slang. As my old dad used to say " stop using abreviations in sentences! Slang is a gateway to hard drugs" Dang Fed!

There may be two explanations. Maybe that the interview was not for u, i mean u were not supposed to do that. And that life have something else for u. For example, my sis didnt got into one college she wanted, and so she went to another one. And the one she got into was soooo much better.
I believe that after a really bad day, the next day is like the best.
But this is just my thoughts.

Ah, I have courses, yet I have good data that i will't continually believe the rascals. common sense is the most reliable, yet ineffective until eventually fed sound stuff to chew upon. Starved or given undesirable nutrition, common sense can factor wildly or close up thoroughly. instinct and emotion can sound so confident of ways, yet have led me into swamps and were given me lost previous to now. and then there are the trails decrease, and markers left, with the help of those who've lengthy gone this kind beforehand: an excellent previous set. I have received numerous diverse maps, and none of them agree everywhere. a number of them agree nowhere!

Well first of all you are listening to an astrologer. You might as well put a gun to your head and pull the trigger. Second of all there is no bad time in life just bad people. Unfortunately alot of these bad people control alot of stuff. You got to just go out there and make $hit happen for yourself cause no one else is gonna do it for you.

maybe there are other criteria's for the selection...
my friend used to try out for this commerical pilot job interview even though he had been working for a prestige finance firm and holds a private jet license...he wasn't chosen due to certain areas of his personality test results...
don't start the "bad time in life" spiral...you've tried your best already.
