Ok so Al Ahly won the bronze medal in the world clubs cup 2006 today, and Abo Treika won the title of Top Goal Scorer cause simply he SCORED more goals than anybody (it cant be biased), we're all happy here in Egypt.
i just wanna ask about "best player" title, how come Abo Treika didnt get it? i dont mean he is better than Ronaldinho, but at least he could've got the silver or bronze trophy u know.
so Ronaldinho, Deco and another guy from internacional got the best player titles, why not Abo Treika, i think its unfair, the media think so too.
Do you think it has to do with his religion or being an Arab? i mean come on, everybody is talking about Abo Treika worldwide, what do u think???

He is very talented. I personally think he is the best player since Mahmoud El Khateeb. He surely deserves to the number 1 african player, unfortunatly that will not happen because african players playing abroad have more media exposure.
What I like about him is not only his talent and scoring capabilities even though he is more of a mid fielder, but also his ethics and how humble he is when dealing with the media and people.
Lets not just sit idle and discuss his talent. Let us help him win the BBC african player of the year award. I am including the voting link, spread the word and make him a winner.

I didn't watch no game of Al Ahly. I watched Barcelona 4-0 América and Internacional 1-0 Barcelona. Ronaldinho was a magician in the match against América, Deco too, Deco also played a bit good in final match. Iarley (the one from Internacional) was very important in the last match, specially in the goal. I honestly doubt that this Abo Treika played so well. 2 of his matches was against weak teams.
I don't have any kind of prejudice against arabs and muslins, ok? Remember Zidane, his arab and won the best player award in 2003 and was ellected the best player in the World Cup.

i think AbuTreka should won the title, but i think it's a matter of compliments and business, not because he is arab or something.
may be because he is an arab added a little bit, but it's not all!
