For this type of job there aren't any courses; it is all hand-on, on the job training. If you really want to become a professional at it any major university would likely take you on as a hands-on, unpaid apprentice for 3 months.

If you become very good at it and have high standards and ethics, the sky is the limit as to what you can make. For people with money, this is the first chore they like to abdicate to someone else and will pay dearly for someone reliable, responsible and will do thing the way they want them done. My cousin went to college at a prestigious school and received her teaching degree. and now makes more money in a month for working a few hours a week cleaning a well-to do person's house than she made teaching; they even flew her to another state to clean their vacation home as they were so pleased with her work.

Just be proud of doing a good job and pay attention to details.You dont need to go to school but it is important to read all those cleaning bottle you use and not mix certain chemical as they produce poisionous gas.
