i have what looks like a mould or fungus growing on the bark of a tree trunk as anyone got a cure?

why do you want to remove it ?.is it ugly have you got kids and dont want them to touch it ? if yes . cut it off put in bag and dis pose of it treat area with creosote

Take a picture or sample to a reputable nursery (please if you take a sample better seal it in a plastic bag or they are NOT going to be happy your are there) They should be able to point out a product. If it is a SERIOUS problem than call a tree doctor, should be able to find one in the phone book.
