Many have suggested to click on desktop-properties-apperance-advanced..But im not able to find a solution to changin colour of the blue coloured task bar.any1 to help out?

click on the drop down menu under "color scheme" and it gives a few, only other way i know to change it to something different is to dl a theme or if you want it a basic color youd have to go back to it looking like win98

If i'm not mistaken, you need to change your computer's/laptop's theme.
