Living by faith (your intution according to what you know is right). That's really what true Chiristianity is about.

I am catholic because I was raise as catholic. It doesn't mean, we have to keep the same religion that we were raised, for the rest of ours life. Recently, after had read a book about Judas Iscariot, The lost Gospel, I got across a religion known as Gnosticism. After, had made some Internets research, my interest grew more with the discover, its bases on my preferred life's philosophy.
What I have understood so far, ( by the book I am reading), the truth or knowledge gain by experiencing, is the real key for people's salvation.
I can not tell you, if this religion, is the best or the right one, but so far, it seems to be the most "common sense" between all those I have been introduced in my life.

The best religion is the one that makes you feel comfortable.
I would look at:
1. The religion that my family is part of (and even friends)
2. The one that suits my character: strict or not. Open to others or not, etc.

The best religion is one you can believe in, full heartedly follow, and live with the consequences (including what may happen to other people).
Another way of looking at it could be that one which makes you a better person.

What's the best for your heart. I am attached to certain religion, of course. But I am not going to ask you to follow me. No. If you want to know it, I'll be happy to tell. But at the end, whether you want to follow it or not, the decision is all yours.
I've been interacting with tons of people around the globe, I even date someone who doesn't have the same faith to mine. But I never ask him to follow me and he never asks me to follow him either. What we do is learn from and respect each other. We have a wonderful relationship and I have great friendships with the people around the world. To me, to us, differences do not hurt at all because we realize that when it comes to faith, religion, you are talking about a very individually personal business between one and God or whatever one believes in.

The "best" religion is ones private relationship with God. There does not need to be an intercessor - just you and God. God understands what is in your heart and if you open your heart and mind, you will gain peace and wisdom. Religion, I believe, is man-made and men are fallible.

religion is something one believes in and follows devotedly, his/her point of view on ethics or own conscience. So the best religion is a persons ideal state of mind and behavior
