How can I tell if I am infected or not or prevent it?

AVG is a good virus remover. Plese scan with the software. Also install an anti spyware and scan the PC. I can give a few links that offer free spyware removers...! . Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

It will keep you virus free, you might want to report that the same person is sending a lot of people to the same address no matter what the question is, this is called abuse and the link is right on this page..
The same response is not legal on yahoo answers, it takes all users to stop this from happening.. lets all stick together on this one..

It depends on the virus, and your updates... he could have made a brand new virus that won't show up with your antivirus

if u have updated vg it should better keep one anti trojan .. mainly we get hit by trojans and rarely virus. i suggest u get one anti trojan good ones are a-squared free, swatit free, spy sweeper paid, spyware blaster
