up to you if you want to try it but id give diluted bleach a go .as long as you rinse off right after i cant see you having many problems.it,s usually my worktop in kitchen that i get it on (real beech)and i put little on a cloth takes it off in seconds.it goes a reddy orange colour first but takes it off.you could try the bleach on a little bit at back of seat to see if its ok.good luck

Use a damp cloth dipped in the suds only from a solution of washing up liquid and warm water. Dry off and polish. Good luck to you.

This is bad news for you...
no stain removal system can remove this.
I called many different Laudry detergent companies... (surf, persil, etc)...
and the rest of them that GUARANTEE removal of stains....
and they said TURMERIC is a dye!!!
so basically its permanent.. its not like other stains.
GOOD LUCK... if you find anything that removes turmeric stains... PLEASE let me know dilhaypakistani@yahoo.com

Use ordinary detergent, then put your upholstery in the sun for a while. Clean with a damp cloth.
