Cheaper to buy a new one, and you will love it much more, if you want to bust your rear, rent a rug doctor with furniture adapter thing, use extra rug dr soap and buy the defoamer. Let a couple fans blow on it till it dries completely so the mold doesn't grow back. Keep the heat cranked in your house or put a heater on it....towards it. But it will only work for a short term, if it works at all. It's way too much work as you probally already repeated the process.

If it smells, you probably have milk, mold or animal urine into it and there may not be any way to get the smell out except for replacing the foam cushions. But a quick fix would be to go to the pet store and pick up a qt of odor remover. The petstores all sell different varieties, but they work essentially the same way. They are a biological product that eats the bacteria that cause the odor.Soak the couch with an even spray of it and allow it to dry. I use fans to assist in the process. It will remove the majority of the smell.and if you continue doing it, eventually all of it,provided it isn't deep in the cushions.

Try using hot steam as steam is 100% hot water and it works most of the time. Use hot boiling water on the stain is also advisable.

If the seat and back covers can be removed (zippered) you can wash and dry them. The foam pillows can be hosed down and dried outside also. Pillows will take a while to dry. Febreeze on the frame may help. good luck

Not sure about the stains, but for the smell.......Febreeze works better than anything else I've tried.
