If you check the dictionary, a geek is a sideshow performer with no physical deformity, but whose act consist mainly of biting the heads off of small live animals usually birds...(There is an Ozzy Osbourne reference to be made here, but I'm not doing it.)
I would say a geek is more of an attention seeker than a nerd, both being on the fringe of society and not really wanting to be there.

Nerds recognise geeks but not vice versa..OR..
the same as Hold and hook ( both 4 letter words with a repetition of the single vowel and only one has a 'k') - for all the geeks out there.

geeks are the adult males who can play FF 7 in below 24 hours and performance the unique D and D. Nerds are the sensible anti-social type who're too insecure to envision with rather ladies. the reliable information is that geek adult males can get geek ladies. and nerds can get rather ladies when they are wealthy like bill Gates. yet adverse nerds are doomed and anti-social geeks are doomed. i'm a semi geek yet i'm studying to sense free with me no remember what i'm. and that i propose a similar for you. in case you imagine your cool then ladies will too. and vice versa.

both stupid words that the american media convinces bratty teenagers to use to make themselves feel better about being pretty average people.
the difference??
do you think these words acually mean something?
and negative??
they mean book-smart, don't they?
smart. Like, smarter than the people who call people those names.
