I've created a cartoon strip & Miles Cooley has agreed to animate it- how do I promote it?

It's called the adventures of Stick-Man and I thought of maybe getting a MySpace for it but yet again- how do I attract visitors to it?

Post the animations on youtube, google videos, other sites like that. Set up a website. Join internet forums and create a sig that includes a link to your site- then whenever you place comments you're also posting an ad for your site. If it's a series of animations you could send episodes to channel101.com as they often feature cartoons- and even if you get rejected you can still post links to your stuff in their forum. Create a myspace page then send out as many friend requests as possible. Pay for banner ads on sites with similar content. use your imagination- there are endless ways to promote yourself on the internet.
