"intel 975xbx2 motherboard " and " intel core 2 extreme edition processor" ?(in indian currency)
Is this motherboard capable of running direct x 9 based games like half life , counter strike : source , call of duty, carbon,etc or i will need to add a graphic card ?
what is the graphic memory of onboard chip on this motherboard?

Depends where you are. In Nehru place (Delhi), you can get that motherboard for about 4K. May be different in other cities. don't know about the cpu nor the graphics card what i do know is u can get a GeForce 6500 with 256MB memory for 3.5 K. im pretty sure the onboard Graphics Card will run CS. All the comps in my school run it and there celerons or p2s. Im not quite sure why you want the core2extreme. May i suggest the Dual Core Pentium D 950 with 3.4Ghz and 4MB cache for 7.8K
