I vote for man evolving on it's own. It looks like I'm in the minority here, but design doesn't come into the human being... a god could have set up the process of evolution sure... but it could happily have gone on without divine influence at all...
Believe man, just believe...

According to the Bible it was harder to create one man than the rest of the collective universe. Jesus created everything else in 5 days but it says on the sixth day ....let us make man in our image meaning it took the Father,Son and Holy Spirit and that is why we have a Soul, a body and a spirit - we were made in Gods image. God collects your tears in a jar and has personally counted the hairs on your head...doubt He does that for monkeys...lol

Some people believe that God created the plan, which included evolution. I think a lot of people think more along these lines.

Evolution and creation are not necessarily opposites. God could have started life knowing that we would result from that and moses' creation story was just a way of explaining complex stuff to people 5000 years ago

i believe in both, God created beings that eventually evolved into humans. Life doesn't fall from the sky you know.
