Don't worry. If you really hadn't dreamed in ten years you would always feel and stumble around like you hadn't slept in a week.
When people who "don't dream" go into sleep studies, the studiers can watch for REM sleep. When the person is woken up then they can remember and describe the dream. It turns out that they are just not having exciting dreams. They dream of walking to school or buying groceries and stuff like that. Their dreams just don't make the impact needed to be remembered later.
It may just mean you process you day's mental clutter quietly and calmly. I wouldn't worry that it seems attached to your dad's death. I wouldn't worry at all actually.

It's likely that you do dream, but you can't recall them. It happens to some people. I tend to recall only about 1 or 2 dreams a week, but I've known people who say they never remember their dreams. I wouldn't worry if you don't recall dreams. The question is, do you wake up every morning refreshed? Do you have a lot of difficulty waking up? If so, then you may have a sleep disorder. Consulting a sleep specialist may be a good idea.

Celerytree has the right idea. You dream when enter REM sleep or rapid eye movement which is the deepest form of sleep. Your trauma could have something to do with you not getting to this stage so you think you are not dreaming. There is a sleep study at the hospital that can help you.

Hmmm...
Dream in what context?
1) The Sleeping and Dreaming context
or
2) In the Goal/Ambition Context
Either way, I think it is quite suspicious, because you know, 10 years is a long time... but, are you so sure that you have not dreamed at all. Is it possible that you have forgotten because you sleep again after having that dream?

Chances are you're either no recalling your dreams or else not getting into the stage of sleep where dreaming occurs. Not getting the right type of sleep can be bad for your physical health.
To the best of my understanding, it is more likely you are dreaming but not remembering them when you awake.

Actually, everybody dreams ... but not everybody remembers them. In order to remember a dream you have to wake part-way through it, and it seems that this isn't happening to you. Psychologists have done lots of studies that demonstrate that if you interfere with people's dreaming (you can read their brain function and spot when they're going into a dream state) they go off their onion within a few days.
However, if it's bothering you (I sense it may be because you connect it to your father's death) you may want to talk to a counsellor about it, but otherwise I wouldn't worry.

Everyone dreams every night, they just don't remember. A trick some people use is going to sleep thinking about a particular object/color and it may appear in their dream. Try it, it may make a dream stand out enough to remember it.

I think so. Do you have lots of things unresolved in your life? Do you lack inspiration? Are you nervous? Can you think straight? Do you feel tired often?
There is a condition, that Peter Buck of the rock group REM has. He doesn't sleep. But even he has waking dreams.
I would consider it bad in general, but then again I don't know how you cope with it. A doctor visit may be waranted....

you just aren't getting REM sleep. You should see a therapist or participate in sleep studies to see if your sleep pattern is normal
