Usually It means you have a urine infection & if you dont treat it, it will get worse & will sting as you release. The blood means its affecting your kidneys. Do you have a slight ache in the lower back above the hips? I recomend drinking heaps of water & cranberry juice is very good for the urinal track. Also take every half hour- vitamin c & garlic untill it settles. then just take morning & night for a few days to a weak depending on how severe.

All the answers before mine pretty much answers your question. I too have had the same problem at one time or another, I was told by my doc to go to the bathroom immediately after sex to clean the urinary tract, as during intercourse there is a lot of bacteria that moves into the tube that goes from the bladder to the kidney, causing infections and irritations. Cranberry juice is good for this as well as any drink with vitamin C, as vitamin C is a natural diuretic, but make sure you drink a lot when you do the vitamin C thing, so you don't get dehydrated. (grapefruits, oranges, or vitamin C pills) etc.

I agree with Paula and those who think a possible Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Many, many UTIs present with just that little bit of blood in the urine (which is why it is pink). Is your pee cloudy? That would clinch it for a UTI, although even if it is clear, I still think it is one... You DO need to see a doctor to confirm this... you don't want it to move up into your kidneys or beyond. Call for an appointment right away... Drinking cranberry juice and lots of extra water will help keep it from spreading until you get in to the doc... To help prevent them in the future, drink cranberry juice on fairly regular basis, take showers instead of baths. Baths can force bacteria back up into your vagina or urethra so you can prevent UTI and yeast infections by showering. When you pee, be sure to completely empty your bladder, even if you're in a hurry. This keeps bacteria from growing in stale urine left in your bladder... Best, Ed, RN

hi, there could be anything from what you suspect to something known as honey moon cystitis - this is basically an irritation of the urinary tract that is situated close to the vagina - there are drugs to make you feel better. it is not an infection but simulates one. you have to go to your doctor, have a pregnancy test and a urine routine exam - both need urine samples. then you need to get drugs to reduce the irritation. its better you start the drug today and take it for 5 - 7 days else you will not be able concentrate on work tomorrow.

sometimes that happens. It's happened to me before, and I haven't had sex at all. If you're worried, go see the doctor. The pinkish tint might be some blood mixed in with the urine, probably nothing to worry about

You have UTI. See a doctor to get treated. You may be passing this UTI to your BF if you continue having sex with him while you have UTI.
