I'm interested in music that blends both classic and heavy metal tunes. I just find violines and metal so stimulating that they almost bring an erotic pleasure to me!
I also enjoy symphonic hard rock, symphonic progressive rock, and I love speedy and violent irish and scotish tunes.
So can you suggest bands/albums which contain either :(1) metal and classic blends, or(2)symphonic rock/Symphonic progressive rock/symphonic new age, or (3) Violent, speedy and fast paced irish or scotish music and dances.

Try some of Evanescence's stuff. They tend to have violins in their music. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful! I got lost trying to look through my iTunes... *has too much music LOL*

A really good band is Within Temptation, they are so much heavy metal, but alot of classical instruments are used. Good luck with your search

You could try listening to Cursive. I don't know if they are exactly what you are looking for, but they are the only band I can think of that would even come close to filling that. There older stuff is probably closer to what you are looking for.

yes i have a favorite for you.. un ledded, page and plant.
it mixes all their greatest hits with classical and east Indian, it is on DVD, you can find it at best buy.
