Age. She was young, I was young. Too deep at the time, the signs conflicted, there were too many vulnerable moments. I felt alarms go off in my head, this is not the time! She needs only comfort, not what she thinks she needs. I am glad I did not act on the wrong signs. All she needed was a shoulder to cry on, not arms to rest in. We are still great friends, both of us agree, we were quite curious back then! Interestingly enough, she is for the girls now, I am for the boys, yet we have a mutual agreement that things turned out for the best.

Well in my case it shocked me, when I was approached from the guy I had a crush. But I didnt do anything, I kick myself for that years later. You need to train the brain to react on opportunities of a lifetime.
