learn them by writing them down n number of times.but u dont have 2 worry abt balancing them as they usually rarely need it

don't just try to cram them

break them in parts like:

preparation of alcohols,chemical reactions of alcohols....
this was just an example you can do this with every functional group and you will see that after sometime reactions start repeating

for e.g.

dehydaration of alcohols using an acid is a way to prepare alkenes
that's what i want to say they are interrelated

and yes always learn them by writing
