Is It True Most People Do Aimless Thinking?

What does one enjoy more

A purposeful walk to the office
Or
A lazy aimless stroll in the garden

Aimless or idle thinking gives us a kind of enjoyment.

Also, our mind can not remain idle.... when there is no purposeful thinking to do such as planning or solving a problem etc. , the mind automatically relapses into aimless thoughts.

My thoughts wander constantly and usually to no place in particular. I don't think there is a purpose, at least for me, it's just a result of boredom.
