It seems to me that marriage is becoming something people try rather than a life long commitment in recent years. Did anyone consider than life could actually be worse and that's what they are agreeing to?

Yes. I knew I'd have worse days when I got married. I tend to believe the "hype..." every popular complaint you hear about marriage and spouses the world over. Most of the stuff proved to be true...fighting, sex, never reallly fully knowing someone, etc. But YES, I meant it.

Well i have been married for better or worse lol
you see women work all the time now & they are used of it so if the guy is not kind she can just leave where as once if he was a creep she just suffered it & stayed with him because it was not good if you were divorced

No one told me that "Worse" would mean-

Everything I knew before we married was a lie!
It was perfectly legal for him to hide that he was supporting his ex-wife & kids from 3 secret accounts for the past 4 years!
He was an ex-felon!
I'd see all our current income go to attorneys to fend off tax evasion charges from before I knew him!
That he'd ALLOW his mother to call me his "plaything"!

Or that he'd reach into my purse and STEAL my visa checks and write himself a loan on my account for $30,000.

Nobody said worse was like this.
