Guys please i need a simple yes or no say i'm gonna get the new sony mp4 with the 2 megapixel camera can i play MP3s on it and what other formats does it support

MP3 stands for MPEG audio Layer III
MP4 usually refers to AAC, advanced audio coding.
Most players that play MP4 files (such as IPOds) do play MP3 files as well.
Assuming the same bit rate (say 128 kbits/s) AAC in theory should provide better audio quality. However, if you just listen music from cheap ear-buds, you should barely here any difference
