I won't be this time around. Too much hassle putting lights on and decorating and worse of all...........taking the ornaments off and then having to dispose of the thing.

Not this year. I haven't put one up in probably 8 years. My kids are grown and my granddaughters are so young it really doesn't matter to them yet. So, I'm taking a breather from all the decorating. Next year I may get an artificial tree or maybe not, I kind of like not having all the fuss.

For me, a Christmas tree is not just a decoration...it is a SYMBOL of the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ..and this only happen once a year..so why be lazy? Why worry about all the mess? You are decorating because you want to have the holiday season spirit into your home and you are welcoming the birth of Christ with your family & friends.
