Why is it that when i download movies of limewire SOMETIMES it only shows the movie with no sound or quicktime

If you don't have the sound, it might be because you don't have the right sound codecs. You can download VLC Player which reads all kinds of codecs, so you won't have to download all the codecs you need. For the quicktime thing, if you don't want to read the movie with quicktime player, you can chose another player with the right click of your mouse (right-click on the file, select 'open with...', 'chose program' or something like that).
