It's A major industry, but I don't know about THE major industry. I'd assume that computer manufacturing might be.

Walmart is the largest employer and Microsoft and exon or the most valuable companies so I would guess software because oil is not really the united states it is international. If you want most employes I woud think retail stores.

It used to be but, now it could be computers, or low cost good centers, like costco or walmart
