you will not be able to get in touch with a famous person, tell your friend to get in line. I am sure he gets lots of these every day.

You should contact the police. While he likely won't get your exact home address from only an IP address, he can determine a certain proximity you're in. From that point it's easy to "google stalk" someone by taking advantage of any information published about you on the net. So contact the police and the dating site. It's best to be safe. He may just be trying to scare you with no intention of carrying out his threat, but he should still be arrested from it and banned from the dating service.
