i'm an educated woman and am working toward a professional career therefore i don't want to do something that will seem garish but i have always wanted my nose pierced!

While getting the nose pierced is easier in young age(just passing a needle through the nose wall and insert a black thread and the it up loosely. This to ensure that the wound (for wound it is)heals up. There is,however, no objection nor the danger of any sort to do it in a grown up age.Get it done by a doctor. After the would heals up you can wear a nose-ring or a 'morni'(gold wire)which adds toyour attractiveness and sex appeal. Good luck. Educated girls do not normally go in for nosepiecsing as they feel that it is a left over from the age of male chsubinidm. Yhr eomrn ertr supposed to be carried about with a long rope in thehold and its other end was wiele by the husband or in-Law to keep her under control.

Many professionals in their 20's and 30's have pierced noses these days. As long as you wear a nice small diamond stud it's not garish at all, it's really cute.

I am a basic corporate geek - sr. manager at a consulting firm, and I really like a classy nose piercing on woman. Very sexy. Go small - a diamond is a good choice.
That being said, there are going to be people who won't appreciate this at work. I have an earring that I got at age 30. I don't wear it to the office. You can't do that with a nose ring though. So go small, but do it.

i am a 27 year old girl who got her nose pierced. if you get a small dainty stud (as opposed to a ring) it can look very classy and feminine. If you have always wanted it done, i'd do it! when you take it out, you have no scar (at least i didn't. I've had mine done a few times now!) it's not like you're getting a tattoo on your face!

Indian women (from India) have their noses pierced, but then, so do some bulls and some pigs, too.

No way! Do what you feel, feel what you do! If you get a subtle stone, like not a hoop, it won't look terribly unprofessional. You can get really cute, really small stones for when you need less bling and when you're feelin fun, wear something a little more showy!

So just do it, there are many discreet nose rings available, tiny diamond chips are my favorite.
