being an american seems like a liability when traveling.I know as a nation we are the *** hole of the world we've all heard it enough times but it seems like just even being american and not even being rude would get me killed

Thats one of the side effects of wrongly chosen bush administration, he fought with the world on the name of america so u a have to face worlds' hatred being an american, i can understand your pain though. But you should never underestimate your values, you support spreading humanity, your question show that you care and please never let go this feature of yours. Assure yourself that "We will inherit peace, and not terror".
