the feeling of having a ton of friends ebbs and flows b/c when i've really needed someone to be there for me, i've usually felt like there was only 1 specific person in that situation who i felt i could turn to but that person would usually be unavailable. it's sucky situation but the great thing is, that feeling of alone-ness eventually goes away and joy replaces it.

Yes.

That's why i eliminated the friendships that were based on nothing more than superficial ends.

And i was left with two.

The truth is surprising when you finally discover it.

But i'm happier now because i know that those two friends truly care and i never feel alone when i'm with them.

I hated being with lots of people and feeling like i was in the shadows, forgotten and ignored.
