For easy reference let people who voted for JUST A be called a, JUST B called b, JUST C called c, JUST A and B be called ab etc.

50 voted for C, so 40 voted for c, bc or ac

c + ac + bc = 40

49 voted for B, so 39 voted for b, ab or bc

b + ab + bc = 39

45 voted for A, so 35 voted for a, ab or ac

a + ab + ac = 35

c + ac + bc + b + ab + bc + a + ab + ac = 40 + 39 + 35
a + b + c + 2(ab) + 2(ac) + 2(bc) = 114

But 90 for at most 2 of the candidates so a + b + c + ab + ac + bc = 90

So ab + bc + ac = 114 - 90 = 24

ANSWER: 24 voters voted for exactly 2 candidates

Since 100 voters overall, and 10 voted for exactly 3 candidates, 24 voted for exactly 2 candidates, and they were all voters so 0 voted for 0 candidates, 100 - 10 - 24 = 66 voters voted for exactly 1 candidate

ANSWER: 66 voters voted for exactly 1 candidate

Homework is for doing in your home, by yourself. You don't even explain why this is a problem for you or what your best responses are and why.
