We are answering some questions in here, that is good but we are closing them! I mean they are not really answered and (my opinion) they cannot be answered!

Only we can decide which answer we like most with voting them but closing the topics(with saying they are answered) does not seem philosophical to me. If philosophical questions are not philosophical, this is not logical.

You have made an interesting point, although I would argue that there are philosophical questions in such precise areas that a single correct answer is all that is needed. Logic belongs in the philosophy category, after all, as does questions about the authors of particular quotes, things like that. If it is about philosophy, it belongs here, whether or not it is "a philosophical question" in the way you mean.

But it was an interesting point, and I am glad you made it.

haha, well, I think you are assuming something that should maybe not be assumed in saying that we are closing the questions with answers. I just put out what I got and know that it is simply what I got. I read others answers and vote, but I would not say that I am closing anything, just maybe getting a better understanding. However, you raise a good point, no doubt.

The rules of society, or Yahoo Answers, are not necessarily the rules that philosophers would approve of.

That goes back as far as Socrates. The counter-reflection is whether it would really be better if philosophers were in charge.

The question makes no sense. Is it philisophical? The question should be whether it is right or wrong. Since the very act of answering the question is philisophical in itself, then yes would be the only answer possible. Closing them or not has no bearing on the outcome of the very question you are asking. Is that philisophical enough?
