I have used 50 megs a great place for free web space, you can also create great looking web pages for free!

You could also try making a free My Space account.

Myspace is a good start, and its a familiar name across the world.

If this doesn't fit your needs however, and should you wish to design your own site, I'd recommend Freeola (www.freeola.com). They host my site (www.funkydoodycool.co.uk if you fancy a peek) for free, with everything unlimited - webspace, email addresses, unlimited acess etc.

All you pay is every 2 years to register the domain (about £20 for a .co.uk) and thats it. You'd have to pay that anyway to have your own domain. The one and only snag is that you have to connect to their dial up or broadband service to access the servers, or if you have a broadband account already with another provider you will have to pay £3 a month, which allows you to access the servers from anywhere in the world.

Consider that for free (or £3 a month if you go that route) they have the best customer service of any company I know, I'd recommend them to anyone, any day.
