does your gpa matter after you graduate? like when u r looking for your first job, is it ok to have a 2.5 in business administration/ finance/ marketing degree?

With your first job your grades matter. In fact, throughout your life employers will look at these grades. However over time the employers will care more about what you have done, your references and so on.

Part of it will depend on the job that you have. If you are in a more sales/customer relations role, what people care about is how much money money you can make the company.

Think about all the little things you can do to push you over the edge. For example, experience in a particular area or particular skills.

Of course the top companies usually choose the best people from the people with the best academic record.

One more thing that really matters is what University you came from. If you graduated from a top university like Stanford or USC, a 2.5 will get you a good job, but if you graduated from CSU: Fresno, you will have a hard time finding a job. I suggest you find a really easy minor like communications, or you just take a lot of easy classes to bump your GPA.
