Every moment is the end of the world as we know it. From here on in is the unknown. Certainly we can make some reasonable projections, but Serendipity will have her way.

If you are talking materialistic, I can say that every day the world we know ends and a new, generally more painful world comes instead of the old one.
..but if you are talking about idealistic, Armageddon comes near. We lost a lot of things in our humanity, values are destroyed.
According to soothsayers and even some philosophers(including religions)when many of us lose our humanity there will be wars(this is logical)than some people will set the system again and everything will be fine(Golden Age)than everything will be down again and end of the world will come...
If we think too idealistic, End of the material world comes when I am dead. It is that simple.

If the world was ending in 24 hours, I'd feel great. In retrospect atleast. I would do all of the things I've always wanted to do. My To-Do-List would be as follows:
- Make sure the world was ending
- Kill someone
- Chop my arm off so I could lick my elbow.
- Go to a Panera Bread for an hour with a laptop pretending to be working on a novel
- Try to beat some games I'm playing.
- Go on YouTube for a bit
- Say goodbye to my loved ones.
- Brace for the end, sobbing.
Wow...that's deppressing...

I've know for along time the world is near its end, so I do feel fine,
I'm just placing my bets on what will do us in. My guess cell phones.

If the world were to end, which I do not believe it is, I think it would be a terrible waste. I think it would be a travesty if our history as a species was to be eliminated completely because if our little footprint in the universe was to be wiped out, what would other life forms have to learn from our example?

I think it is possible that the world will end when I die. Because I think it is also possible that I'm currently in a coma and all of you are just parts of my subconcious dream or figments of my imagination.
